| | | "Tracking world war II” package is a 3 day tour to the Ksiaz and Sowie Mountains, where you find the “Riese” (”Olbrzym”), the complex of tunnels and underground passages, build from 1943 to 1945.
During the first day of the trip we will take you to one of the biggest polish castles, called the Pearl of Lower Silesia, located in Ksiaz.
Later on we will visit the Riese track going to Walim and Gluszyca. The next element will be the coal mine in Nowa Ruda, where you can get accustomed with the full range of mining technology and equipment being used in the mines.
The last part of the journey will be Srebrna Gora, a small village on the boarder of Sowie and Bardzkie Mountains. In Srebrna Gora you will see the fortifications and the high viaducts – the remains of the Sowie Mountain Railway from before the war. | | | | ITINERARY | | Day 1 - transfer from the airport to Ksiaz castle
