How to get to Wroclaw?

You can choose from:

- travelling by plane,
- going by train,
- going by bus,
- going by your own car.

Arrival to Wroclaw by plane:

There is the Mikolaj Kopernik Airport in Wroclaw (Wroclaw – Strachowice). You can choose from the low fare air lines, like: Ryanair, Centralwings or WizzAir. There are direct connections to Wroclaw from the following cities: Warsaw, Cork, Dortmund, Dublin, Frankfurt Hahn, Frankfurt am Main, Glasgow, Copenhagen, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Milan Bergamo, Munich, Nottingham East Midlands, Rome and Shannon. In the Communication and Transport Section it is possible to check how to get from the airport to the city centre. Ticket can be bought via the Internet.

Arrival to Wroclaw by train:

If you decide to travel to Wroclaw by train, you can start your journey from any city you want. The main railway station in Wroclaw is called Wroclaw Glowny and it is located in the very centre of the city. You can find the most suitable connection for you on the official PKP Web Site, which is: www.pkp.pl. For tourist from abroad visiting our city, it is advisable to use Deutche Bahn Service, whose web site is available in German, English, Italian and French language. While using this page you are asked to choose ‘Wroclaw centralny, d.s., Polen (Poland)’ as your target railway station. It is also advisable to choose going by a sleeper. The prices of the railway tickets in Poland are one of the cheapest in Europe. Tickets can be bought at railway stations or via the Internet.

Arrival to Wroclaw by bus:

If you choose to travel by bus, you can also start your journey from any city you want. The main bus station is located in the very centre, just behind the main railway station called Wroclaw Glowny. Moreover, there are many regular private carriers running to Wroclaw from the whole Europe, so there should be no problems with finding the suitable connection. In order to find a connection from any city in Poland you are advised to use the Internet timetable (internetowy rozklad jazdy). For tourists from abroad it is the best to visit the local ticket selling office with a view of finding the optimal connection from any city in Europe. Tickets are available at bus stations or local bus ticket selling offices.

Arrival to Wroclaw by your own car:

If you own a car, it is advisable for you to choose this means of transport. On request our consultants will find a proper manned car park. In order to plan your travel precisely it is recommended to use international service, which is very helpful in finding proper roads (you can choose from: the fastest road, the shortest, the most economical, and the tourist one).
